Women's Casual Over the Knee Cotton Socks

These over-the-knee socks are cute and seem well made. Like almost every pair of socks I've ever bought, they look a bit more sheer than I'd like once they're stretched up my leg. I'm starting to think that's just how socks work with my legs! I don't have large legs, but they're not super slender either, so maybe truly opaque socks are only possible for people with really slim legs.Either way, they fit comfortably. At 5'6", I can wear them up over the knee or keep them right at the knee, depending on the look I want. I bought them to wear under my knee-high boots, and they work great for that.They wash and wear well, although I let them air dry to keep the black looking dark (I worry the dryer might make them fade too much over time).Overall, I think these are a really good pair of socks for the price!

These socks are soft and comfortable and stay in place without cutting off your circulation. I wore these under a pair of knee high boots and completely forgot I was wearing them. I have a mild allergy to latex and the cuff on these left a slight impression but no irritation at all. The impression was even less itchy than I experience with other knee high socks.So I do feel like these could reach over my knee but that would stretch them more than I care to, as it means the fabric becomes less opaque. I have shapely calves and I am a petite but I like just under the knee best for fit and these were so comfortable I’ll happily reach for them anytime I wear boots.I washed these in cold, dried them on medium heat and they look great, even with the manufacturer sizing rinsed away so they lost a bit of the original sheen. The black is still rich, the white stripes are still crisp and I’m pleased. At $9 for a single pair, they aren’t cheap but I think that’s great and the quality makes them a good value.

These are good quality socks. They do not itch, and feel comfortable while wearing. They stretch nicely and fit well, never feeling overly stretched. I spread my hand out inside and they are not see-through. They wash up well in the machine, along with other socks. After wearing them for a couple of hours, they started to slip off the thighs and ended up resting under my knees. These would be good for short term wear if you want them to stay above the knees, and longer wear if you are just using them as knee socks.

I like these thigh high socks. They are the first pair I’ve ever tried and for $9, I think the quality is decent. I did think I was getting 2 pairs but god the price, one pair makes more sense!.They are not as opaque as I had hoped but because they are one size and I’m a little taller/bigger than average.. when stretched to full length they are a bit more sheer and not quite to mid thigh as I had hoped. For reference: I wear a size 10 shoe, am 5’8”, 160 lbs. usually size large for most clothes.My only other concern is the top band seems to want to roll on one leg at the top. This would prevent me from wearing with a short skirt or shorts. My suggestion for improvement would be to widen the top band to help it stay in place without binding /cutting into your thigh. Again, a thinner/smaller person might have a perfect fit so also offer g in different sizes would be good too.

These are really cute knee high socks and they actually came up just above my knee, which I liked. They are pretty compressing, though, so if you have larger calves these may be too snug or uncomfortable.The foot portion had plenty of room for me and I think they could easily fit up to around a women’s size 10 without feeling tight in the foot.After a few days of wearing them, I did have an issue where the top portion started to unravel a little. That said, I’m also pretty rough on my clothes and it’s very possible I snagged them on a chair or something without realizing it, so I’m not sure I’d consider that a dealbreaker.Overall, these are cute socks and I like the length. Just be aware that they have a snug, compressing fit around the calf.

These are thick socks that come up over your knees. They do not come very high on your thighs unless you are fairly short. These feel like traditional tight woven socks. The material is thicker than expected. I assumed they were going to be more of a costume quality sock. But these are actually quality socks that you would be happy to pay for. They have a double white stripe along the top. They fit small to medium size feet best. If you have feet size 9 or larger, they might be too snug.

These are cute and they look nice. They don't lose color when they stretch. They do come over my thigh but the band is a little tight, so they would best be suited for someone with skinny legs.

You will need to be a smaller person for these socks to fit you nicely and not be too stretched out. I happen to also be short at only 5'2" so that helps as well. While they are sized for women, I think these will fit smaller women and teenagers best. The fabric is nice though and soft on the skin, overall cute set of socks.

If you have nice, muscular legs and have searched endlessly for knee highs that don't create leg muffin tops that you don't even have, you'll want to BUY THESE - IN BULK!!They will go over my knee, but do not stay..they DO work absolutely perfectly and COMFORTABLY (without muffining) as knee highs..so comfy..plus, mostly cotton!!Upon arrival, I went to order three (at least) more pairs!. I like these socks. They are stretchy, comfortable and warm. I think one thing that would influence whether you like these socks or not it how thin your thighs are. They call them thigh high, but even in the listing the model has them just above her knees with pretty thin thighs. These go above my knees and stay up, and they are perfect for the dress length I wear, which is just below the knee so in the winter I can stay warm without having to wear actual stockings. I would buy them again.
